     Estos apuntes se escribieron para uso devocional y también para uso al estar predicando o enseñando en vez de ser un análisis crítico. Excepto por la referencia a unas cuantas palabras griegas, el método del autor ha sido el de explicar el texto de las versiones de King James (1611) y La Reina Valera (1609) con pasajes de Escritura paralelos, mostrando la unidad y la suficiencia de la Palabra de Dios. El material del libro se ha diseñado para la lectura y el autoestudio, o para usarse en una clase bíblica. El lector y el estudiante pueden aprender mucho al buscar todas las referencias o pasajes bíblicos y anotar las palabras que faltan. Los bosquejos y comentarios son prácticos, habiéndose usado por el autor, en su predicación y en la enseñanza de esta epístola en iglesias locales. Al escribir, lo he hecho con el deseo de que el estudio provea para el lector, materiales útiles para servir al Señor Jesucristo y para estimular al lector a dedicarse al estudio más a fondo de La Sagrada Escritura.

What the Bible Teaches About Drinking Wine

     Some time ago, the newspapers around the country reported a famous preacher's comment about social drinking. He said, "I do not believe that the Bible teaches teetotalism. I can't; Jesus drank wine. Jesus turned water into wine at a wedding feast. That wasn't grape juice, as some of them try to claim." This is false as false can be. Of course, many people have held this view, through the years, but it is a sad day when a man who is noted as a Bible preacher also espouses the same position. So, it is incumbent upon us to look into the Bible itself and see what the scriptures actually teach about the drinking of wine. Another reason that such a study is so important is that, even though the drinking of hard liquor has decreased, wine consumption has grown by leaps and bounds over the past few years. To arrive at the truth, we must consider the following facts from the Bible in this booklet. [PUBISHER’S COMMENT: This was written by Dr. Lackey in 1985. The situation is far worse in 2020. Truth has “fallen to the ground” (1 Samuel 3:19).

Lo Que La Biblia Enseña En Cuanto A Tomar Vino

     Hace tiempo los periodos alrededor del país (EE.UU.) reportaron los comentarios de un predicador famoso sobre el tema de tomar socialmente el vino alcohólico. El predicador dijo, “Yo no creo que la Biblia enseña que tenemos que abstenernos totalmente de tomar vino alcohólico. Yo no puedo creer eso; Jesús tomaba vino. Jesús convirtió el agua en vino en las bodas de Canaán. Ese vino no fue solo jugo de uvas, como algunos proclaman.” Predicador o no, esto es una mentira. Claro, muchas personas mantuvieron (y mantienen) esa opinión, pero que triste el día cuando un predicador de la Biblia declaró tener esa opinión. Ese error nos obliga a buscar en la Biblia la enseñanza sagrada y verdad sobre tomar vino. Otra razón porque debemos hacer este estudio tan importante es porque, ha habido un aumento significante en cuanto a la cantidad de bebidas alcohólicas que se toman en estas décadas después de la muerte de Dr. Lackey. Más cristianos ahora toman bebidas alcohólicas.
