Those who have fallen into the trap of a “pre” A.D. LXX, a Greek translation of the Old Testament before the incarnation of the Lord Jesus Christ, are primarily Roman Catholic expositors. Now they are promoting yet another a false claim. Specifically, they claim the chronology in the mystical Septuagint, the LXX, is more accurate than the Traditional Masoretic Text as accurately and faithfully translated into the King James Version. After reading this work, perhaps you will conclude as I have that so much of this farce is false and shameful. Dr. Chris Sherbrune said: “Virtually the only historical evidence for a BC Greek Old Testament called the “Septuagint” (= seventy man or seventy day translation, depending on the legend followed) is “The Letter of Aristeas” found in a highly spurious, non-canonical collection of writings called “The Forgotten Books of Eden.” The Zondervan Preface to their Septuagint call Aristeas a “fable.” The Encyclopedia of Religion and Ethics (p. 308) calls it a “manifest forgery.” Notable Old Testament scholar Paul Kahle calls Aristeas “propaganda.” Internally there are many factual errors in “Aristeas,” such as: “Demetrious was never the royal librarian, and he died long before Alexandria’s naval Victory…” (Thackeray, THE LETTER OF ARISTEAS). The letter tells of a conversation between Demetrious and Theodektes, but Theodektes died before Demetrius was born, and the letter itself is [tentatively] dated some 200 years later than the supposed 300 BC translation of the Old Testament into Greek, (The International Standard bible Encyclopedia, p. 2924.” Dr. Phil Stringer reported that: “The method being used is to attack the chronology of the events recorded in the Masoretic text. In short, they claim the MT is wrong, but the LXX is right... Especially, by the “doctors” of the RC, who desire to destroy the Hebrew Masoretic text upon which the KJB is translated. Subsequently, they claim the new versions are correct, Jesus and the apostles quoted from the LXX, the LXX was before Christ and He used it, so all the reasoning behind the KJB translation is false. All the catholic scholars say that. So, if you disagree, you must be wrong.” Dr. J. A. Moorman said: “The Bible’s chronology as with all else in Scripture is given and preserved by the Holy Spirit. Chronology gives the Bible its form, its structure, its actuality. The Bible can be tested in all points, and so in the subject before us it can be tested as regards time. Our study here presents the view that the Bible (the King James Version translated from the Masoretic and Received Texts) gives a complete, unbroken chronology of the years from the creation of Adam to the Death of Christ on the Cross. There are no gaps. The Bible and the Bible alone gives the complete chronology of the years from the First Adam to the Last Adam (I Corinthians 15:45). The Bible is not dependent in any way upon secular chronology to “fill in” any supposed gaps.” So, are these men right. Yes, and find out why in this book.

This book is about clear Biblical statements correlated with current events around the world and in the headlines. There has been no attempt to sensationalize the present status of the world, but rather to depend upon “Truth” to guide us, including me, in these last days. Jesus declared that believers should be able to discern the signs of the times. (Mt. 16:23) Perhaps, the sensational news that is reported every day has lulled many into a stupor, or else most believe there is so much “fake news,” so many deceivers, so much iniquity (selfitis), so many “fake bibles,” why should “I” give the future another thought. Whatever the case, discerning the signs of the greatest event in human history just before it happens, is at a low point. Hopefully, reporting on 66 of these signs (six is the number of man in Scripture) will help all of us to remember: Mat. 16:3 “…O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?” Lu 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

The King James Bible's Accuracy & Faithfulness
Dr. Williams has rendered a great service to all students of the King James Bible. His masterful historical research demonstrates that there have always been critics of the King James Bible but their criticisms are willful and not scholarly. Genuine scholars have repeatedly risen to its defense and promotion. They still do. This book is a great resource in the study of the history of the King James Bible. I recommend it to any serious student of the King James Bible.

The use of the word “salt” in Scripture has been interpreted in many different ways over the centuries. Many have complained of the difficulty understanding the meaning of salt found in various passages. Just as leaven has a consistent meaning throughout the Bible, this book reveals the usual typological meaning of salt as the Words of God.
As this book also explains, salt is related to the Words of God, preservation of the Words of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Covenant. There is a significant interrelationship.
If:
The Covenant = the Lord Jesus Christ (Isa. 42:6)
The Covenant = the Words of God (Old and New Testament)
Salt = the Words of God (Old and New Testament)
Then: Salt = the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Miracle of Biblical Inspiration
There are numerous opinions in the literature concerning the meaning of “inspiration” of the Bible such as “the partial view,” “the natural view,” “the neoorthodox view,” “the pagan view,” and many others. The explanation of most of the various views is very troubling. Very few positions exalt the true origin of the original Words of the Bible in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. The positions fail to correctly recognize that the process and the product of “inspiration” is a miracle “once delivered.” Inspiration is a very TECHNICAL term. Dr. Williams’ work will help others to understand the meaning of the words associated with “inspiration” in their Biblical context.
And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”. 2 Timothy 3:15
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” 2 Timothy 3:16
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” 2 Peter 1:21
But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.” Job 32:8-9

Word-For-Word Translating of the Received Texts,
The NEED. There is a vital need for a book to inform sincere Bible-believing Christians about the proper techniques of translating the WORDS of God into the receptor languages of the world. No book like this one has ever been written. It is a unique and much-needed book.
The TEXTS. The very first requirement for any translation of the Bible is to have the proper WORDS of Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek from which to translate. It is the contention of this book that the original verbally and plenarily inspired Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek WORDS have been verbally and plenarily preserved in accordance with God's promises. These preserved WORDS are those received-text-WORDS which underlie the King James Bible.
The TECHNIQUE. This volume emphasizes the requirement of a proper technique to be used in all translations of God's WORDS. It must be done in a verbally and plenarily translation technique. That is, the Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek WORDS must be conveyed into the receptor languages, not merely the ideas, concepts, thoughts, or message. This technique is absent in all of the other manuals on Bible translation.
The SKILL. Dr. Williams is not the usual sort of writer. He combines the meticulous skill of a Doctor of Medicine with the artistry and acumen of a Doctor of Philosophy to produce this grand volume. May this important book be used by translators and sincere Christians of all persuasions and professions worldwide!

Dr. Williams' book, Hearing the Voice of God, discusses the critical factors related to the postmodern confusion surrounding this issue. He approaches the subject clearly and realistically from a biblicists point of view. Mysticism is refuted. Individuals desiring the truth about God speaking to them will appreciate this volume. Many present day teachers cause emotionally distressed people to turn to their own thoughts, as if their thoughts were God speaking to them. This work investigates the topic as it relates to revelation, conscience, inspiration, illumination, and the voice of the Lord in Scripture. Dr. Williams explains how postmodern philosophy has created an atmosphere that contributes to the confusion surrounding this important subject.

May the Lord Jesus Christ use and honor this study in the days, weeks, months, and years ahead until our Lord Jesus Christ returns. It should be in every layman's library, every Pastor's library, every church library, every college library, every university library, and in every theological seminary library.

Dr. Williams' book, The Pure Words of God, expresses his view concerning the use of the word "pure" when it is used to define the Words of God. Should "pure" be applied to translations, to Traditional/Received Texts, or to critical texts? Once the correct application is made, Dr. Williams explains God's commands to receive and keep His pure Words.

There are five significant pivotal points pertaining to the origin of the corrupted Critical Texts that lie behind the modern versions of the Bible. It is important for believers to understand the origin and the influence of these original language texts on doctrine, practice, application, and translation of these false texts. At least one new English version of the Bible has appeared in the market place every six months for the last several decades that is translated from these texts. The five pivotal points associated with six men are:
Satan- The initiator of the devious disrespect for and changing of the Words of God began with that old serpent the Devil “in the beginning” (Gen. 3, and Mat. 4).
Origen- The first two centuries after the completion of the New Testament were the most destructive era for the Words of God. This was particularly true in Alexandria, Egypt where dozens of cults existed. Origen (182-251 AD) lived and taught in an Alexandrian theological school. He was supported by a wealthy man, Ambrosius, which allowed him to travel to many regions with an entourage of at least seven to fourteen scribes skilled in calligraphy, copying, and stenography. Wherever he went, he changed Biblical manuscripts to fit his doctrine and philosophy.
Jerome- Jerome’s publication of the Latin Vulgate in 405 AD constructed from Alexandrian text-type manuscripts was a crucial key in the continued assault on the Bible. Its influence because of the Roman Catholic Church would be immense.
Darwin- The publication of Charles Darwin’s book, The Origin of Species, in 1857 caused many ‘scholars’ to believe that the book of Genesis was a fable or myth, which destroyed confidence in the inspired Words of God.
Westcott and Hort- Westcott and Hort were two professors at Cambridge in the mid to late eighteen hundreds. One was a bishop in the Anglican Church. They constructed a ‘new’ false Greek text from their false tenets of textual criticism. The ‘new’ text would become the corrupted text behind modern versions of the Bible.

The Attack on the Canon of Scripture
Recently, the attack on the received Words of God has shifted from the letters of individual Words to the books of the Bible. Dr. Williams explores the reasons for the shift. It is paramount for today’s Christians to understand the significance of this paradigm change. The most important effect is on our children. By the end of a college education, fifty-one percent of previously professing students abandon the Christian faith.
